TERMS OF TRADE

Prices are based upon an open booking for delivery between 10am and 3pm. Timed deliveries are available at an on-cost of £15.00 per order
Minimum Carriage Paid Order : 126 cases (1 pallet)
Carriage Contribution : 25p per case shortfall
Trading Terms : 30 days from date of invoice.
We do not operate a sale or return policy.
All damages and short deliveries must be recorded on P.O.D. and notified to our office within 24 hours.
Failure to comply may result in non settlement of claims.

RESERVATION OF TITLE

Any reference to Company in this Reservation of Title Clause means Food Connections Limited or any of its subsidiaries/associate companies.

The products and any other goods delivered by the Company to the Buyer shall remain the sole and absolute property of the Company as legal and equitable owner until such time as all money due to the Company has been paid by the Buyer but all such goods shall be at the Buyer’s risk from the time of delivery to it and the Buyer shall arrange insurance accordingly.

The Buyer acknowledges that it is in possession all such goods as Bailee of the Company until such time as legal and beneficial ownership shall have passed in accordance with above or until prior re-sale to a bona fide purchaser in which case the entire proceeds of such goods shall be held in trust for the Company and shall not be mingled with any other money or paid into any over-drawn bank account and shall at all times be identifiable as the Company’s money.

Until delivery to a bona fide purchaser the Buyer undertakes to store such goods on its premises from its own goods or those of any other per person and in a manner which makes the readily identifiable as the Companys’ goods.

The buyers right to possession of such goods shall cease if it does anything or fails to do anything which would entitle a Receiver to take possession of any assets or which would entitle any person to present a petition the winding up of the Buyer.

The Company may for the purpose of recovery of its goods enter upon any premises where they are stored or where they are reasonably thought to be stored and may repossess the same without prejudice to any further or other remedies which the Company may have against the Buyer under this contract or otherwise.

The buyers warrants that it is not at the time of entering into contract insolvent and knows of no circumstances which would entitle any creditor to appoint a Receiver or to petition for winding up to exercise any rights or against its assets.
